Using Microsoft Teams in QUB collaboration spaces
Event Description
Microsoft Teams is the communication and teamwork hub of Microsoft 365. With Microsoft Teams you can bring together a team, securely share and collaborate on files and communicate via private chats, group conversations and online meetings.
This course will focus on use of Microsoft Teams to join online meeting and collaboration sessions from Queen’s on-campus facilities, and from office or home. On-campus facilities are useful for groups joining online meetings to collaborate with remote parties. This can be useful for research collaboration work, or interview sessions when an interviewee or a member of the panel is joining remotely.
The course will also cover the basics of joining Microsoft Teams meetings from office or home.
This course will cover:
- Access to Microsoft Teams from on-campus collaboration spaces.
- Use of the equipment in on-campus collaboration spaces.
- Joining online meetings, inviting guests, and meeting controls.
- Meeting recordings.
- File and content sharing.
- Tips and best practices.
- Accessing support.
