Web of Science: A Closer Look
Event Description
The Web of Science is an important multidisciplinary database of research literature that combines citation indexes for academic journal articles in Science, Social Science and Arts and Humanities disciplines. It also includes conference proceedings indexes. This course is recommended for researchers who wish to develop their knowledge of the content and functionality of the Web of Science database.
Course content includes:
- Accessing and searching the Web of Science
- Managing search results
- Registering with the Web of Science and setting up alerts
- Finding impact measures (incl. journal impact factors)
This course will be delivered via MS Teams. A link will be sent to all participants.
