What is the Lobby?

The lobby is the  name given to the first Layout that you should begin your webinar with

It should be the first screen that people see, and will give them an indication of the subject matter and speaker. A good tip is to also include the time (and international time) for your upcoming webinar.

You can change the name of the Lobby to be anything you like (see adjusting layouts), however sticking to convention is probably best.

In the lobby its also good practice to have a short video that can keep those that arrive ahead of (or just on time) for the webinar something to watch before the webinar begins in earnest.
