DegreePlus is an employability award that allows you to gain formal recognition and a certificate for the extracurricular experience you gain during your time at Queen’s.

Added to your CV, it signals to employers that you’ve worked hard to develop the skills you need to succeed in the workplace.

Keen to explore the world? Every year over 800 Queen's students take the opportunity to go outside Northern Ireland to study or gain work-related experience – why not be one of them?

Some courses offer periods of study and work abroad as part of your degree. However, all Queen’s students have access to a range of life-changing travel opportunities suited to every study level and discipline. You can go abroad for the summer, for a semester or for a whole year.

Fancy a taste of campus life in an exciting new country? Studying overseas gives you the opportunity to make new friends, experience another culture and discover new ways of looking at your subject. Our study abroad programmes range in length from one week to one year. You can choose to spend a semester at a European or Australian university, a year in America or even three weeks in China.
