    Final Year, Business Management

Hi, my name is Gregory, I am a final year Business Management student (part of Queen’s Management School). I lived in BT9 (Elms Village) for my first year then lived in private accommodation during my second and final year. I have been part of numerous clubs and societies such as Paddlesports, Rowing and the Management society during my time at Queen’s. I have also been able to take advantage of the many insights, internships and opportunities offered here at Queen’s such as insight days, an internship in London, and during my third year, I did a placement for one year at an aerospace company. The university and location has been a cracking place to study and live, with its welcoming staff, exciting atmosphere and endless activities from walks along the River Lagan to experiencing the food and culture around Belfast.

    3rd year Software Engineering

Hi, I’m Caitlin, a third year Software Engineering student. In my first year of university I lived in Elms BT2 which was a perfect location, close to the train/bus station and town too. Living in halls allowed me to meet some of my now closest friends. In first year I took part in the Queen’s Global Leadership Programme which allowed me to develop so many new skills, meet new people and spend a week in Toronto! I am currently on a year’s placement with a FinTech company before going back to complete final year of my degree. Queen’s is definitely a great university for studying and the nightlife is pretty good too.

Hi, I'm Emily, and I'm in my 2nd year studying Biological Sciences here at Queen's. I lived at Elms BT1 during first year, and now live in a student house with my friends. During my time here I've been a member and the treasurer of the Squash Club, through which I've made loads of friends and great memories, as well as helping me develop my management skills. During my free time I like to go hiking in the mountains in Northern Ireland, which are so beautiful and close by! Belfast has been an amazing place to live, with so many things to do in and out of the city, and I can't imagine living or studying anywhere else.

I am originally from the middle of nowhere in the Cotswolds, near to Cheltenham and when I am at university, I live in a private house with three of my friends just off the Lisburn Road. I have been involved with ArcSoc over the course of my time at Queen’s and I will be working as the head of Merchandising for the society next year. I also work for the university as a GB ambassador and, when we could give tours, I was a tour guide! I have absolutely loved my time at Queen’s, and I am so excited to be back in September.
