Final year, English and history, London

Hi, my name is Charlotte and I'm going into my final year of English and History. In first year I lived in Elms BT2 which was a great location for going out and working in the city centre. Whilst at Queen's I've been a member of the QUB dance team. Through this I made loads of friends, kept fit and got to travel with the team for different competitions. In second year I became vice-president of the dance team which was a great opportunity. During my two years at Queen's I've studied two subjects I love whilst experiencing a great new city. It's a great university and location for learning, cultural sites and nights out.

Whilst at Queen’s I joined the girl's Gaelic football team during my first and second year and then began volunteering at a homework club in the local area for my third and fourth year. During my whole time at Queens, I have been employed by the university to assist with tour guiding potential students, open days, and other promotional events which allowed me to fit working, around my studies. Instead of doing a year in industry I opted to do two summer internships with Jaguar Land Rover and have since secured a graduate role there. I have greatly enjoyed my time at Queen’s and living in Belfast has allowed me to experience` the friendly atmosphere of the city and make lifelong friends.
