Journal of Environmental Policy and Planning

JEPP at 21 Workshop

JEPP is 20 years old: we recently published Issue 1 of our 21st volume

The Journal is very well established and has created its own niche in critical analysis of environmental policy and planning. We attract some of the best papers being published in the field, lead debates in some of the most pressing environmental issues, and rank highly on impact and citation metrics.

We are grateful for the support offered to us by our authors, reviewers, and members of our Editorial Board, so thank you!

We took this milestone as an opportunity reflect on the future of the field and held an exclusive workshop at ISI THESys in Berlin.

Leading scholars presented original papers that will help us articulate a future agenda for environmental policy and planning research.

The workshop opened with a welcome dinner on Sunday 8th September and closed on Tuesday 10th September. A keynote lecture and a dinner on Monday, 9th September served to celebrate JEPP’s success and look to the future. Participants of the workshop presented papers that formulated a research agenda, reflect on challenges, and assess the state of the art in the field.

We intend to publish the collection of papers as a double special issue in JEPP.
