Dr Elaine Moriarty presented preliminary project findings at the Migration, Borders, and the Politics of Inclusion and Exclusion conference at QUB on 16 June 2025. The two day conference was jointly organised by QUB and The University of British Columbia. The presentation was part of a panel specifically focusing on researching the migrant experience.

The conference was supported by the North America Strategic Partnership, QUB, The Centre for Migration Studies, The University of British Columbia, Migration Integration in the Mid-21st Century: Bridging Divides and The School of History, Anthropology, Philosophy, & Politics, QUB.
