Privy Council Notes:
- 'copy … referred to the commissioners of his majesty's customs, to consider the same and report whether the duties, drawbacks, allowances and regulations imposed and granted by the said bill are the same as in the English law' (PC 2/125, p. 229, 6 July 1780).
Letter to commissioners of the customs telling them that bill was to be considered 'on Tuesday next, at one o'clock, and in case the report from the commissioners of the customs can be ready by that time, you will be pleased to send it in' (PC 2/125, p. 257, 15 July 1780).
