Nery Ramati (Gaby Lasky and Partners, Tel Aviv) will speak on 'The Legal Systems in the Occupied Territories: A New perspective'. This talk deals with the different legal systems in the Occupied Territories, asking whether and how their (mis)use has produced a new form of occupation law.

Dr Nahed Habiballah (adjunct professor at the Arab American University in Palestine) will speak on 'Palestinian Jerusalemites: Aliens in their Homeland'. This talk introduces the audience to the Israeli policies and laws and how they impact the lives of Palestinians in East Jerusalem.
