The Leverhulme Interdisciplinary Network on Algorithmic Solutions (LINAS) Doctoral Training Programme is inviting a second round of applications to fill available projects.

  • The LINAS DTP offers PhD scholarships to researchers who are interested in the interdisciplinary study of AI’s social impact, or that of data mining and algorithmic decision-making more broadly
  • Each PhD researcher will be assigned supervisors both from Computer Science, Maths & Physics, Cybersecurity and from Law, Politics and Sociology
  • The programme focuses on two broad themes: “Artificial Intelligence, Social Justice and Public Decision-Making” and “Science, Governability and Society.” These themes are reflected in a range of projects, as outlined on the LINAS website
