Multi-Disciplinary Standpoints on Conflict Transformation Postgraduate Conference
CALL FOR PAPERS
We are pleased to announce the Senator George J. Mitchell Institute for Global Peace, Security and Justice Annual Postgraduate and PhD student conference. The conference aims to explore approaches to conflict resolution through interdisciplinary collaboration. The conference will provide a unique opportunity to present, network and forge academic relationships with fellow students and practiitoners working in the field. Conference participants will also benefit from the opportunity to be considered for publication of their research papers within the Institute's Working Paper Series.
In addition to papers from delegates, the conference will include a keynote speaker who is an expert in their area. And to further enhance postgraduate research skills, representatives from the 'Women are Boring' online community will give a short talk and workshop on increasing impact beyond academia. The conference will also feature a panel of individuals from the victims and survivors sector, in order to facilitate a space for exchanging experiences of post-conflict reconciliation.
We welcome 15-20 minute paper proposals that emerge from (but are not limited to) the following themes:
