26 November, 2021

LINAS Doctoral Training Programme Virtual Information Session

The Leverhulme Interdisciplinary Network on Algorithmic Solutions (LINAS) Doctoral Training Programme is hosting an information session on December 8th at 12:30 ahead of its deadline for applications on January 14th 2022.

The LINAS DTP offers PhD scholarships to researchers who are interested in the interdisciplinary study of AI’s social impact, or that of data mining and algorithmic decision-making more broadly. Each PhD researcher will be assigned supervisors both from computer science, maths & physics, cybersecurity and from in law, politics and sociology. The programme focuses on two broad themes: “Artificial Intelligence, Social Justice and Public Decision-Making” and “Science, Governability and Society.” These themes are reflected in a range of projects, as outlined on the LINAS website.
