Institute Visiting Scholar publishes latest book 'A Dangerous Pursuit'

16 June, 2021

Mediating sectarian disputes was dangerous work in the 1990s. People were intimidated out of jobs and homes or shot – some fatally. The trade union anti-sectarian unit Counteract developed a robust and uncompromising mediation service which dealt with many of these violent incidents.  Drawing on interviews, oral history and documentary material, A Dangerous Pursuit tells a compelling story of those at the centre of these dramatic events and recalls a hidden aspect of the Northern Ireland peace process.

For details on how to order please visit the link - A Dangerous Pursuit by Dr Roz Goldie.

Dr Roz Goldie is a Visiting Scholar at the Senator George J. Mitchell Institute for Global Peace, Security and Justice.
