Global Scholars Network on Identity and Conflict (GSNIC) Global Partner Interviews
The Global Scholars Network on Identity and Conflict (GSNIC) is a partnership between the Weatherhead Center for International Affairs at Harvard University and the Mitchell Institute at Queen's University Belfast that seeks to connect scholars and practitioners from around the world to advance its mission of overcoming intergroup conflict and fostering more inclusive, peaceful coexistence.
The network is led by Professor Melani Cammett, Clarence Dillon Professor of International Affairs at Harvard University, Director of the Weatherhead Centre and Honorary Professor at the Mitchell Institute and Professor Richard English, Mitchell Institute Fellow and Professor of Politics at Queen's University Belfast.
GSNIC is made possible through the generous financial support of the Carnegie Corporation of New York. We are deeply grateful for their commitment to fostering global peace and understanding.
Professors Cammett and English host a series of Global Partner Interviews with people whose experience and expertise in peacebuilding and conflict resolution offer insights of global significance.
In one of the most recent Interviews, Professor English interviewed Mitchell Institute Interim Director Professor Louise Mallinder about her research and the importance of interdisciplinary approaches to studying peace and conflict.
