The new U.S. plan in Afghanistan may add a local militia. That might be a bad idea.

The US are promoting a plan to deploy civilian defense militia (a unique form of Pro-Government Militia) in #Afghanistan. In a new @monkeycageblog piece Govinda Clayton and Andrew Thomson highlight why this is likely to be a very bad idea.
