The When the Arts Meet Health dissemination event, organised by CFCE affiliate Ving Fai Chan on 7 October 2025 at Queen’s University Belfast, brought together researchers, community partners and students to celebrate how creative expression can transform health communication and engagement. The event showcased powerful outputs, from music and animation to short films, co-created with children, artists, people affected by vision impairment and stakeholders. Held at Queen’s University Belfast, it highlighted how the arts can bridge cultures, evoke empathy, and inspire action in global eye health. The event underscored that art is not just expression. It’s impact, dialogue, and change in motion.
