A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for The Great EEECS Bake Off, in aid of Macmillan. Thanks to your generosity our coffee morning on Friday 27th September 2024 raised an incredible £455 for Macmillan Cancer Support!

The event was a great success, with Key Lime Pie, Tropical Fifteens, Fruit Scones, Wheaten Bread, Matcha Cookies, Cupcakes, Apple, Pear and Blackberry Coconut Crumble and Brownie bites to name just a few. We definitely have some star bakers hidden among us!

Our expert judges, Gary Daly from the Great Hall and Brian Stewart from Riddell Hall had the tough job of taste testing everything to finally declare our Bake Off Winner, Elaine Sommerville.

All proceeds from the day will go to Macmillan Cancer Support, helping them continue their amazing work providing care and assistance to people living with cancer and their families.

Whether you baked, bought, or just came along for a chat and a cuppa, we appreciate your support. Together, we’ve made a difference, and had a lot of fun doing it. Thank you.

What QUB building should be turned into cake next year?!
