The Alan Turing Institute

Queen’s University Belfast is a member of the Alan Turing Institute’s University network, the UK national institute for Data Science and AI.

Membership of this network allows our researchers to work  with other UK universities to identify complementary research projects and support knowledge exchange, leading to future collaborations, strategic alliances and partnerships, strengthening and enriching the fundamental work on AI and its application already being undertaken in CISC.

Artificial Intelligence Collaboration Centre

Funded by the Department for the Economy and Invest Northern Ireland, the AICC has been established to provide access to specialist expertise in AI.

Through a programme of education, skills and training, and rapid interventions, the AICC will accelerate the adoption of AI-powered solutions in Northern Ireland Businesses and drive the region’s ambition to be on. CISC Researchers are collaborating with colleagues from Ulster University to deliver a program that will translate our expertise and research into economic transformation.
