Their acclaimed debut album sees the duo conjure up a spellbinding set of music through poignant originals and re- imagined timeless standards. Inspired by Ant’s compositions, Brigitte exhibits rich lyrical storytelling, from wistful memories of growing up in the south of France in ‘Who We Are’ to the more obscure tale of a gifted horse in ‘Clever Hans’. Her deeply expressive vocals, alongside Ant’s inventive and melodic acoustic guitar artistry, are the elements at the very heart of this music. Since releasing ‘Ensconced’ in 2024, Ant and Brigitte have been performing throughout the UK and in Europe, introducing spontaneous improvisations and explorations to their concerts. They continue to tour and develop brand new music, ahead of the eagerly awaited follow-up album.
