Prattyush Banerjee (sarode) and Gurdain Singh Ryatt (tabla) present a concert of Indian ragas

Prattyush Banerjee is one of the leading sarode players in India today. He is also an acclaimed music composer-arranger and an instrument designer. Besides solo concerts, Banerjee takes part in various crossover projects and has featured in the MTV Coke Studio and the J.S. Bach Festival in Belgium.

For over 30 years, he has been doing commendable work for numerous music albums, orchestras, choirs, TV series and films. He has modified the traditional sarode considerably and has created its first electric version, the Jyotidhwani.

Born in UK, Gurdain Singh Rayatt is one of the leading tabla players and teachers in UK and Europe performing internationally with renowned Indian Classical musicians as well as world/crossover and fusion projects spanning several genres.

He has been fortunate enough to accompany some of the great legends of the Indian Classical music world including Ustad Amjad Ali Khan, Ustad Shahid Parvez, Pandit Birju Maharaj, Pandit Kushal Das, Rakesh Chaurasia, Purbayan Chatterjee, Niladri Kumar, Anoushka Shankar and many more.
