A duo recital by distinguished French music scholars and pianists Iwan Llewelyn-Jones and Caroline Rae. Featuring En blanc et noir and Six épigraphes antiques to mark this year’s Debussy centenary, their recital sets these works in a broader French context with rarely heard performances of Dutilleux’s Figures de résonances and Jolivet’s riotous Hopi Snake Dance.
