The fourth annual instalment of Hard Rain's 'Ink Still Wet' series will celebrate the new music recently commissioned by the ensemble.

The first concert in Hard Rain's 2020/21 season, Ink Still Wet 4 will showcase new works by local composers Katie Bamford, Samantha McCoy, and Anselm McDonnell, commissioned as part of our PRSf Talent Development Partnership.

Ink Still Wet 4 reflects Hard Rain's continued commitment to generating new repertoire and offering fresh opportunities to our composers.

The evening will include short interviews with each of the featured composers.

 

Buoyant Objects (2020), World Premiere, Katie Bamford (1995), violin, violoncello & clarinet

Lῡna (2020), World Premiere, Samantha McCoy (1997), flute, clarinet & violoncello

Refractions (2020), World Premiere, Anselm McDonnell (1994), flute, clarinet & violin

 

All works were commissioned by HRSE with funds from the PRSf Talent Development Partnership.

Tickets

Free, with donations gratefully received.

Ticket holders will receive a link via email to watch the concert broadcast on Friday 15th January.

The concert stream will expire 48 hours after the broadcast begins. You can re-watch the concert at any time during this 48-hour window.
