Conference: The Criminal Cases Review Commission and Miscarriages of Justice

This collaborative event, jointly hosted by the Criminal Cases Review Commission, the Institute for Global Peace, Security and Justice (QUB) and the Institute of Criminology and Criminal Justice (QUB), focuses on Miscarriages of Justice in Northern Ireland.

This event will have two sections:

  1. CCRC and the Legacy of the Conflict in Northern Ireland; and
  2. CCRC and the Criminal Justice System.

It offers an opportunity to learn more about the work of the CCRC, its role in dealing with the legacy of the conflict in Northern Ireland and its ongoing role in the Criminal Justice System.

Schedule:
1.30pm – 2.00 pm - Registration and coffee
2.00pm - 3.30pm - Session 1: CCRC and the Legacy of the Conflict in Northern Ireland
3.30pm - 5.30pm - Session 2: CCRC and the Criminal Justice System
5.30pm - 6.15pm - Wine reception
