2026 Conference Photo Competition

One Shot. One Decade. One Winner.

To mark 10 years of IAS, and in collaboration with InterSim for our 2026 conference, we are pleased to announce the Simulation Photo Competition.

We are looking for the single most impactful image that captures the world of simulation. Whether it’s a moment of high-intensity teamwork, a masterpiece of moulage, or the quiet focus of a learner, we want to see simulation through your lens.

What should your photo represent?

There are no formal categories, but we encourage you to look for images that capture:

Human Connection

The interaction between learners, faculty, or the patient.

Technical Artistry

The incredible realism and detail of modern simulation environments.

The Learning Curve

That "light bulb moment" where theory becomes practice.

Innovation

A unique or "outside the box" look at how we train.

Submission Rules

Eligibility: Open to all registered conference attendees

Consent: All people featured in the photo must have granted permission for the image to be displayed and potentially be used in conference promotional material.

Originality: The photo must be your own original work.

Only one photo permitted per entry

The Narrative: Every entry must include a short title and a brief caption (max 50 words) explaining the significance of the moment captured.

Closing Date

Submissions must be received on or before mid-night 17th May 2026
