The Institute for Global Food Security, AFBI, DAERA and the Ulster Farmers' Union are pleased to announce this year’s George Scott Robertson Memorial Lecture, supported by The Gibson Trust, will be delivered by Ash Amirahmadi OBE on Thursday 26th February at Riddel Hall.

 

Ash Amirahmadi OBE is a leading figure in the UK food sector and currently Chief Executive Officer of Sofina Foods Europe, overseeing a multi-protein business with 27 sites and around 9,000 employees. Ash has also chaired Dairy UK and The Institute of Grocery Distribution (IGD), and currently advises Government as part of the Food Strategy Advisory Board

 

The event will commence at 5.00pm with a drinks reception followed by the lecture at 5.45pm
