Climate change is one of the most pressing and challenging issues facing humanity. Extreme heat, flooding, and rising sea levels are leading to several dangerous and irreversible impacts on societies and economies.

As a result, there is a growing demand for specialist graduates with advanced knowledge and skills, to help tackle this issue. This highly interdisciplinary course offers a specialised knowledge of climate change from multiple perspectives, addressing many of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) around themes including:

  • Climate Science;
  • Impacts, Adaptation and Vulnerability;
  • Technological and Nature-based Mitigation;
  • Climate Change and Human Culture.

Climate Justice

MASTERS IN CLIMATE CHANGE

A course in climate change has never been so important, as we attempt to tackle these fundamental issues facing humanity in the 21st century. This MSc focuses on understanding the fundamentals of climate change that are affecting us now and also looks at ways to mitigate and provide solutions for these issues. 

The core modules will incrementally advance your knowledge and understanding. However, you have the flexibility to select extra optional modules that cater to your specific goals and interests, enabling you to customize the course. Practical skills training is an integral part of all modules, providing crucial hands-on experience to apply subject knowledge in practical, real-world settings.
