Mental health nurses have an in-depth knowledge of the factors leading to the development of mental ill- health and are skilled at supporting their service users and families in all aspects of their life adopting a recovery focus.

The fast-track Mental Health Professional Nursing Masters aims to prepare a nurse to undertake a person centred assessment, formulating and delivering care in partnership with their clients and their significant others, building psychosocial support systems. Course Details

MSc Professional Nursing (Learning Disabilities Nursing)

Learning Disabilities Nursing is focused upon the psychological and physical wellbeing of individuals with a learning disability throughout the lifespan from children, young people, adults and older people. 

The Learning Disabilities Nursing pathway aims to prepare a nurse to undertake a person centred assessment, formulating and delivering care in partnership with their clients and their significant others. Course Details

MSc Professional Nursing (Adult Nursing)

Taught by experts in acute and chronic care, palliative care, community nursing and mental health who will support you in becoming a caring, compassionate professional, working in partnership with people, families, and communities. 

This course will equip students with the knowledge, skills and attributes to deliver person-centred, team-based, safe, effective care in today’s fast-paced, dynamic health service. Course Details

MSc Professional Nursing (Children and Young People Nursing)

Taught by experts in their field, students will quickly gain skills and competencies to allow them to become confident, competent and safe practitioners, capable of advanced careers in their chosen profession.

This course will equip student nurses with the knowledge, skills and attributes to ensure care is child, young person and family centred whilst working with other professionals and agencies across contexts. Course Details
