Green Impact

The Graduate School Goes Green

Green Impact is part of a wider environmental accreditation scheme.

We aim to empower our postgraduate students to reduce their environmental impact by encouraging, rewarding and celebrating practical environmental actions and improvements. The Graduate School's Green Impact team are committed to promoting sustainable practices to both staff and students.

Have a hot drink on us

The Graduate School's Loyalty Card Scheme allows postgraduates to collect stamps every time they bring a reusable cup to the Graduate School. Collect nine stamps and be rewarded with a free hot drink from Junction, courtesy of the Graduate School.

We've gone Platinum

Green Impact is a UK-wide environmental accreditation scheme. University staff take part each year to achieve awards for making their workplaces greener and more environmentally sustainable. The Graduate School's Green Impact Team at Queen's achieved a Platinum Award in June 2019, and are working towards sustaining this award in 2020.

Green Week 2020

Green Week is taking place from the 9 - 13th March 2020. Green Week is an annual campaign which aims to raise awareness of the importance of sustainability and to encourage positive change among staff and students through a week of ‘green’ activities.

Our collateral is green

The Graduate School will aim, where possible, to source environmentally friendly options for School materials and collateral.
