Meet The Staff
 
            Having worked in education for over 30 years, Donna Hyland brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the Graduate School. Here, she shares stories of her background, her job role, and her passions.
 
            As Learning and Development Consultant, Neil delivers a range of courses including Master your Leadership and parallel thinking and is involved with the delivery and assessment of CMI qualifications.
 
            As Researcher Development Consultant, Abbie supports Masters (PGT) and PhD (PGR) students with their academic and researcher skills through workshops and one on one appointments.
 
            As a Training and Development Consultant, Tom is involved with the delivery and assessment of CMI qualifications.
 
            Diane has over 20 years experience in Higher Education, career guidance and counselling, and delivering career education programmes.
 
            As Postgraduate Careers and Employability Consultant, Joan works with postgraduates to develop their employability skills, providing workshops on CVs, application forms, LinkedIn, interview practice, and presentations, as well as 1-2-1 consultations.
 
            As a Training and Events Co-ordinator within the Student Engagement Team, no two days are the same, but Niamh uses her background and experience in Events Management to ensure effective planning and delivery of events throughout The Graduate School.
 
            As Student Engagement Co-ordinator, Scott keeps the Graduate School Reception operating smoothly, is a Fire Officer and First Aider for the building and ensures that Signage directs students and staff to the right rooms for their event.
 
            As a Graduate Intern, Amy supports the Graduate School team in the development and execution of student events and activities, creating marketing content such as posters and plasma screens, and advising on postgradutatstudent needs.
 
            Sijie Mou is one of our Graduate School Community Assistants. She is currently studying a PhD on the Beijing Dialect. She brings her own academic and personal experiences to help support the needs of students at the Graduate School.
