Wellbeing at The Graduate School

Talk | Move | Rest | Enjoy
4 Ways to Improve your Wellbeing

We know how stressful (and time-constraining) postgraduate study can be. But we also know the value in striking a balance between working hard, and taking time to rest so you can perform at your best.

Research shows that mindfulness is associated with improvements in concentration, enhanced working memory, and reduced mind wandering. These cognitive enhancements play a crucial role in effective learning and information processing, resulting in better academic outcomes.

Throughout the year, we'll have dedicated events and spaces which keep this in mind, encouraging you to take a small amount of time away from your studies to recharge your batteries!

Click here for assessment support and tips for Postgraduate Research students.

On the above link, there is also a specific page on the Assessment Support Hub specifically for Postgraduate Taught students - PGCE/Masters/PDip etc. so don't miss out!

If you're an International Student (masters or research) in need of support, click here for the Academic English Service.
