We invite you to join us in Belfast this year for the The European Society of Veterinary and Comparative Nutrition (ESVCN) Congress 2024.  The theme of this year's congress is sustainable diets and we have invited some eminent experts from around the world to explore this topic.

Guest Speakers

  • Mr Jack Bobo, Director of Food Systems Institute, University of Nottingham, UK: The challenge of making human diets sustainable.
  • Professor Ricardo Souza Vasconcellos, State University of Maringá, Brazil: Pet food formulation and its environmental impacts.
  • Dr Taro Takahashi, AgriFood and Biosciences Institute, Northern Ireland: Can we achieve low Carbon diets for ruminants?
  • Professor Margareth Øverland, Norwegian University of Life Sciences, Norway: Sustainable diets for non-ruminants.
  • Dr Georgios Pexas, Cranfield University, UK: The future of animal feed.

The Residency Class will take place from the 9-10th September 2024 in Dublin. This makes it a 'whole Ireland' event and the ESVCN team can't wait to see you there.
