PHD STUDENTSHIP AWARDS – Faculty of AHSS 2018/19

The Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences invites applications for PhD Studentship Awards commencing in 2018.  Studentships are available through the following schemes:

AHRC NORTHERN BRIDGE STUDENTSHIPS

If you are interested in applying for a studentship in the Arts and Humanities, please complete the application process in line with the AHRC's Northern Bridge Doctoral Training Partnership's studentship competition.

The closing date for Northern Bridge applications is 10 January 2018 at 5pm.

DfE STUDENTSHIPS

DFE studentships are available and they will be allocated to outstanding students undertaking PhD study across the broad range of disciplines within the Faculty.

The closing date for DFE applications is 16 February 2018 5pm.

AHSS INTERNATIONAL AWARDS

To support more International students to study their PhD at Queen’s University Belfast, the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences (AHSS) is offering International PhD Awards.

ESRC NORTHERN IRELAND AND NORTH EAST (NINE) STUDENTSHIPS

This ESRC funded Doctoral Training Partnership (DTP) focuses on the provision of exceptional postgraduate social sciences training.

The closing date for NINE applications is 12 January 2018 at 4pm.

CENTRE FOR EVIDENCE AND SOCIAL INNOVATION (CESI)

Project details to be released at a later date.

The closing date for CESI applications is 16 February 2018 at 5PM.

LEVERHULME INTERDISCIPLINARY NETWORK ON CYBERSECURITY AND SOCIETY (LINCS)

The Leverhulme Interdisciplinary Network on Cybersecurity and Society (LINCS) has been established to support pioneering research at the interface between the social sciences and electronic engineering & computer science. LINCS brings together The Senator George J. Mitchell Institute for Global Peace, Security and Justice and the Centre for Secure Information Technologies (CSIT) to develop a distinctive cohort of doctoral students working across the boundaries of their disciplines who will open up new avenues of enquiry.

The closing date for LINCS application is 15 January 2018 5pm.
