The aims of the programme are to:

• Raise awareness and increase knowledge and understanding of Mental and Emotional Health and Wellbeing
• Raise awareness of signs and symptoms of mental ill health
• Promote self-help/resilience techniques and how to maintain a safe level of positive mental/emotional health and wellbeing
• Promote self-care
• Provide information and/or resources on mental health support organisations available (locally and regionally)

Meet the speaker:

Hugh Roarty has over 13 years of experience delivering various training programs around mental health awareness, personal wellbeing and resilience and suicide prevention. His responsibilities include updating and delivering training to young people, adults and key contacts regarding mental health promotion and personal wellbeing and resilience training, with the aim of developing their awareness, knowledge and understanding.
