This event brings together a highly collaborative cancer metabolism research community for two focused days of high-quality science, discussion, and networking. The programme is centred on early career researcher talks and posters, creating space for new ideas and meaningful connections. For the first time, the meeting is open to cancer metabolism groups across the UK and Ireland, strengthening collaboration and accelerating translational progress in this rapidly evolving field.
Building on the momentum of our 2024 and 2025 meetings, this event will bring together our established network of more than twenty independent research groups alongside a wider community of researchers across the UK and Ireland, to share ideas, support early career scientists, and advance translational research into how metabolism shapes cancer biology outcomes.
A central feature of the meeting is its strong commitment to early career researchers, with dedicated oral presentations and posters designed to showcase emerging talent, stimulate discussion, and support career development. There will be no PI talks.
Spaces are limited, so we encourage you to register early to secure your place. We will close registration on Tuesday 24th March.
The meeting will be held over two days in Riddel Hall (https://www.qub.ac.uk/sites/campus-food-drink/RiddelHall/), a unique venue on QUB campus where traditional meets contemporary.
