CIISec is delighted to welcome Queen’s University Belfast (QUB) as a new Academic partner.
Queen’s has a significant track record in cyber security research and education. This will ensure our students get an even greater awareness of the information security profession as well as building their employability and career potential. We look forward to working with and growing the membership in Northern Ireland especially and supporting the growing cyber security ecosystem here in the region.”
Prof. Steve Furnell, CIISec Director said “Queen’s University Belfast is a very welcome addition to our growing band of academic partners. The university has a significant presence in cyber security education and research, with the activities of the Centre for Secure Information Technologies and the NCSC-certified MSc in Applied Cyber Security being of particular note.
