PhD Researcher on Community Climate Action
Teresa Hill is a PhD student researching community-led climate action with the Groundswell Project in East Belfast. The aim of her research is to utilise the community’s knowledge of their local area to create environmentally sustainable public spaces, facilitate discussion about the shared duty for a sustainable future and inform decision making for resilience and adaptation measures which will affect the local community.
She previously worked in Community Arts before completing an MSc in Leadership for Sustainable Development. Since graduating, she has worked as Climate Action Support Worker with the Place-based Climate Action Network and Centre Administrator with the Centre for Sustainability, Equality and Climate Action at Queen’s University, Belfast.
