Postgraduate Taught Experience Survey 2024
This survey invites all Postgraduate Taught (PGT) students at Queen's to share their experiences of their degree.
The survey will only take around 15 minutes to complete.
All feedback will be combined with those of other PGT students to help improve the learning experience of other students.
Each student that completes this survey will be entered into a draw to win a £400 voucher of their choice. Ten runners up will also win a £20 Love2Shop voucher (terms & conditions apply).

As a result of feedback from previous student surveys, Queen's and the SU have worked together on;
- A full, safe return to face-to-face teaching and on campus support in 2022-23
- £41.8 million investment in the new Students' Union and Student Centre at One Elmwood
- Ongoing development of the services and facilities at Queen's world class library that is now open 24/7 during term-time and has faster wi-fi
- Significant investment in a Virtual Learning Environment (Canvas), and the introduction of lecture recording where appropriate
- Investment in laptop funding for students who need better access, and employed student interns as Digital Champions to support digital learning
- Creation of new forums to act on feedback and increased transparency on changes that have been made, as well as increased support for School and Course Reps
- Increased investment in mental health support
- Support during the cost of living crisis

By entering this competition, participants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

This promotion is open to Postgraduate Taught Queen's University Belfast students.

To be eligible for the competition, participants must complete the Postgraduate Taught Experience Survey 2024 between Monday 19th February and Tuesday 30th April 2024. Prize winners will be drawn at random following the event.

Entrants must provide the necessary details in the Postgraduate Taught Experience Survey 2024 to be eligible for the prize. All information provided will be used in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.

The winner will be selected at random and contacted by Tuesday 7th May 2024. If the prize winner does not respond after two attempts to contact them, they will forfeit the right to claim the prize and the Promoter will choose another winner.

If any technical failure, including, but not limited to, infection by computer virus, network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, or any other cause beyond the control of the Promoter, corrupts or affects the administration, integrity or fairness of the promotion, then the Promoter may, at its sole discretion, cancel, modify or suspend the Promotion and/or invalidate affected entries.

One (1) first prize winner will receive the following prize: One (1) £400 voucher for a company, restaurant or store of their choice (QUB has to approve the choice of voucher). Value of prize: £400.

Ten (10) runner-up winners will receive the following prize: One (1) Love2Shop voucher. Value of prize: £20.00

The prizewinner(s) acknowledges and accepts that they are responsible for their own safety in association with the redemption of their prize and that the Promoter accepts no liability for any injury incurred by the prizewinner. The Promoter and its associated agencies and companies accept no liability for any loss, expense or damage which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person's negligence) in connection with the promotion and/or prize, other than such liability that cannot be excluded by law and any such liability shall be limited to the fullest extent permissible by law.

There are no cash or other alternatives to the stated prize and, unless otherwise agreed in writing by the promoter, the prize will only be awarded directly to the winning participants at Queen’s University Belfast.

The winners will not be able to refund or transfer to another prize.

The Promoter reserves the right to amend, alter or terminate this promotion and these terms and conditions without prior notice, at any time.

In the event of circumstances outside of its control, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute with similar prizes of equal or greater value.

The decision of Queen's University Belfast's Thomas J Moran Graduate School is final and binding and no correspondence shall be entered into.

The winners may be required to take part in promotional activity related to the competition and the winner shall participate in such activity on the Promoter’s reasonable request.

Names, email addresses, and/or telephone will be collected and used to process entries. The winners' details may be given to the prize provider to arrange delivery of the prize.

Your details may remain stored after the End Date but will not be used for marketing unless you have ticked an opt-in box on entry. If you have, your details will be used in accordance with the information given when you ticked the opt-in box and gave your consent.

The winner consents to the use by the Promoter, both during and for a period of five years after the closing date of the competition, of the winners’ photographs, quotes, names, voices and images for publicity purposes (in any medium, including still photographs and films, and on the internet, including any websites and social media accounts hosted by the Promoter) and in advertising, marketing or promotional material without additional compensation or prior notice and, in entering the competition, all entrants consent to the same.
