Dublin City University

Dublin City University

Dublin City University is known as the "University of Enterprise".  Research at DCU stems from the academic excellence of its four faculties coupled with a passion for translating knowledge into innovations for economic or societal benefit. Beyond specific disciplinary research, DCU’s activities are focused on some of society’s most pressing needs: health technologies, and the healthy and ageing society; information technology and the digital society; sustainable economies and societies; and democratic and secure societies.

It has a dedicated Research Support Office, experienced in handling all functions of research grants administration.  The Human Resources Department will assist with the recruitment process, while the Graduate Studies and the International Office will provide essential support to the Fellows for the realisation of their PhDs.  DCU has a commitment to provide professional and expert supervision, including a supervisory panel to advise postgraduates on progression and training needs throughout the duration of the PhD programme.  Postgraduates also have access to world-class facilities and the best support training to ensure that students develop enterprising and creative mindsets and are equipped to become leaders in their chosen fields.
