For a scholar of the law, this book is particularly helpful in providing an understanding of how barristers and solicitors differ in their respective roles and the power games that are often played. The authors conducted interviews with both barristers and solicitors (mainly barristers) and this provides a rich and in-depth narrative. Themes include access to justice, legal system, class, advocacy.
