The QUBIS+ team was proud to attend the always inspiring Catalyst Invent awards to celebrate Queen’s students and alumni who have been supported by SU Enterprise and InQUBate initiatives on their start-up journeys.
These outstanding entrepreneurs showcased their creativity, innovation and entrepreneurial spirit with great success.
Twelve finalists also had one minute each at the awards night to pitch for a £1,000 prize sponsored by HM Chartered Accountants with Vibrotect winning the audience vote with their smart wristband that alerts workers in real time as they approach harmful vibration exposure limits.
The top Student Invent winner was The Influencer Hub – a tech driven platform connecting small/medium sized businesses with content creators for accessible, affordable and data driven influencer marketing campaigns.

A huge congratulations to the five QUest teams who took home awards on the night:

Congratulations also to Corrina Grimes, 2013 Queen’s Alumna, who took home the overall £25,000 prize with Memory Tell, a digital biomarker platform that uses speech and language analysis to detect and monitor cognitive changes — including conditions such as dementia.
