Introductory Educate the Educator in simulation-based education (Full day ‘in-person’ course Thursday 19th June 2025)
This practical and interactive course offers an overview of the key elements involved in delivering high-quality simulation-based education. Participants will receive hands-on training in:
- Core principles of effective simulation-based learning
- Designing a simulation-based educational activity
- Conducting effective pre-briefing sessions
- Facilitating simulation sessions with impact
- Leading meaningful debriefings

Educate the Researcher: Introduction to Qualitative Research in Simulation-Based Education (Full day ‘in-person’ course Friday 20th June 2025)
This interactive course introduces qualitative research methods, specifically within the context of simulation-based education. Topics covered include:
- Foundations of robust qualitative research
- Developing clear and relevant research questions
- Using theory to guide your research approach
- Conducting qualitative research interviews
- Performing thematic analysis
- Navigating the process of publishing your research in academic journals
