Doctoral students working on their theses in the field of Operations Research applied to Health Services are invited to submit a research proposal paper for the doctoral colloquium hosted within the 2026 ORAHS conference.

The Doctoral Colloquium will take place at the School of Mathematics and Physics at Queen’s University Belfast on Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 July.

Submissions

The submissions can be current working papers as well as dissertation theses outlines. Submissions do not need to adhere to any formatting guidelines, but it should indicate if it is a working paper or a thesis outline. We ask students to try and limit the length of their submission to 10 pages, excluding references. 

Please send the submission as a pdf to: melanie.reuter-oppermann@dgre.org. The size of the file must not exceed 5MB.

The deadline for submission: Friday 24.04.2026 23:59 GMT.

Registration to the Doctoral Colloquium will be possible only together with the conference registration.
