Visa
All presenters and participants themselves are responsible to obtain visa to travel to the United Kingdom. The organising committee will issue invitation letters to presenters who require a visa. To receive an invitation letter, please write an email to ORAHS2026@qub.ac.uk and explicitly indicating the requirement.
It is important that all presenters/participants check-in with the United Kingdom embassy in their home country concerning required documentation and the invitation letter needed (e.g., if there is specific format or text requirement).
The UK Border is digital with the introduction of Electronic Travel Authorisations. Delegates who are non-visa nationals (those who do not have to obtain a visa prior to travel, such as US, Australian, European nationals etc) will need to obtain an ETA prior to travelling to the UK. Further information can be found on the University's International pages. Please note the advice on Entering the United Kingdom from the Republic of Ireland if you plan to travel via Dublin Airport.
If you need an invitation letter for your visa application, please contact the Local Organizing Committee (ORAHS2026@qub.ac.uk) Prior to contacting the chair you must be able to confirm that conference fee payment and registration is completed*. For those who present a scientific paper, please also indicate your paper ID number and the title of the paper.
