The programme will encompass modules across the areas of actuarial mathematics, statistics, economics and finance, to provide graduates with the knowledge and skills to pursue a career as an actuary.
The Masters in Finance will explore how company managers and investors make financial decisions, how they manage their risk and how financial markets function. Your background may not necessarily be in finance, so this is a great opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge and practical understanding of financial markets and financial decision making.
The programme will equip students with the cutting-edge quantitative and computational techniques and strategies utilised by leading financial firms and will prepare students for future careers in a financial analytics, trading or more general finance environment.
Studying risk and investment management looks at how organisations and investors should understand, evaluate and address relevant risks to maximise the chances of their objectives being achieved.
The programme equips students with the cutting-edge risk management tools and strategies used by leading financial firms and regulatory bodies. Academics who teach on this programme are at the cutting edge of their fields, many also have relevant industry experience.
Course DetailsScholarships of £5000 available exclusively for outstanding international applicants from China studying postgraduate taught programmes at Queen’s Business School in the academic year 2023/24.
If eligible, confirmation of your award will be issued shortly after you have received your offer.
A £1500 reduction in tuition fees is available to new international students beginning a full-time course in the academic year 2023/24 who hold an unconditional offer and pay tuition fees less any International Office awards including the Early Confirmation Award by 30 June 2023.
