The roundtable will be chaired by Dr Gift Sotonye-Frank, an early career academic who joined the School of Law at Queen's University Belfast in January 2023 as a Lecturer in Education and who currently serves as an external advisory board member to the Northern Ireland Migrant and Minority Ethnic Think Tank. She is also a founding member of the African Scholars Research Network hosted at Queen's.
Joining her will be Dr. Eric Morier-Genoud, a reader in African History at Queen's who previously spent six years as a research and teaching fellow at the Universities of Oxford, Lausanne and Basel (Switzerland), as well as Dr Femi Omotoyinbo, a Doctor of Philosophy, School of History, Anthropology, Philosophy and Politics, and Adanna Equzie, a fourth-year medical student at QUB who recently completed an MSc in Global Health Science and Epidemiology at the University of Oxford.
