Course content

MSc Artificial Intelligence students will study the following modules:

  • Artificial Intelligence for Health (20 credits)

Entry Requirements

Academic Requirements

Applicants should normally hold a bachelor’s degree awarded by a recognised Indian institution with a final average of 58-60% or above (comparable to a UK 2.1 Honours degree), or an equivalent qualification acceptable to the University. Applicants who hold a 2.2 Honours degree and a Master’s degree (or equivalent qualifications acceptable to the University) in one of the above disciplines will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Applicants should have studied Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related discipline, or have completed at least one module with significant computational or quantitative content. All applicants will be expected to have mathematical ability and significant programming experience as evidenced either through the content of their primary degree or through another appropriate formal qualification.

Relevant professional experience in a technical or quantitative role may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Applicants are advised to apply as early as possible.

English Language Requirements

Evidence of an IELTS score of 6.5, with not less than 5.5 in any component, or an equivalent qualification. Taken within the last 2 years.

Accepted English Language Requirements 

English in the Indian Standard XII may be accepted (CBSE/CICSE/Karnataka/Maharashtra/Tamil Nadu/West Bengal boards) with a score of 70% taken within 7 years of the expected course start date.

An official Digilocker verification document will be required. Please provide your Admit Card ID number to the University.

If you have completed a degree that was taught and assessed in English within the two years prior to your first enrolment at Queen’s University Belfast – GIFT City Campus, the University may be able to accept this as evidence of your English language proficiency.
