My research advances sustainable, miniaturised analytical platforms by integrating nucleic acid-based biomimetic receptors with advanced microfluidics and smart functional materials. I develop lab-on-a-chip sensors using aptamer–molecularly imprinted polymers, 2D nanomaterials, and green additive manufacturing strategies.

This work is underpinned by computational fluid dynamics and molecular-level simulations to optimise analyte–receptor interactions, transport phenomena, and overall device performance. The goal is to deliver high-performance, low-footprint diagnostic tools for real-time, decentralised environmental and biomedical applications, supporting scalable, eco-conscious analytical innovation.
