Public outreach & key achievements

Significant public outreach profile leading to the Award of SPE Energy Influencer of the Year 2023 and Western Australian Tall Young Poppy of the Year 2024. Contributions include founding the Forrest Research Foundation National Science Week Showcase, as founder and lead judge of the Future Energy Exports Cooperative Research Centre Three-Minute Thesis Competition, and as founder and Technical Director (Eastern Hemisphere) for the SPE Hydrogen Technical Section. I have delivered public talks on science, engineering and net zero at Pint of Science, and as a Keynote speaker for a large secondary school science teachers conference.

Extensive international research profile including experience in the UK (Cardiff and Cambridge), the Netherlands (DSM Chemical Technology) and Australia (University of Western Australia). In 2022 I received the Australian National Measurement Institute Award. In 2024 I was named Western Australian Early Career Scientist of the Year and featured on the MIT 35 Influencers under 35 (Asia Pacific) List.
