The School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering has a reputation for making a positive difference to society through leading edge research with outstanding people and world class facilities.

This Research Showcase will demonstrate our vibrant and inclusive environment where we conduct innovative, novel and multidisciplinary research. This showcase event will feature a mixture of presentations, interactive displays, poster sessions and tours.

During the showcase event you will:

- See the impact of our collaborations with industry and successful spin out companies and how they ensure our innovative research makes a rapid and direct positive impact on society.

- Connect with our vibrant postgraduate research community in SMAE who are involved in tackling the cutting edge of development.

- Engage and interact with our state-of-the-art teaching and research facilities through interactive tours and displays, demonstrations and poster sessions.

- Be inspired by our academic staff and the future direction of our research.

The event will have a mix of industry, academic and student presentations interspersed with poster displays, live demonstrations and tours of the facilities within the Ashby Building.
