Appointment of Professor Deborah Colville as Honorary Professor of Practice

We are delighted to announce the appointment of Professor Deborah Colville as Honorary Professor of Practice in the School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at Queen's University Belfast.

Professor Deborah Colville as Honorary Professor of Practice in the QUB School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at Queen's University Belfast.

We are delighted to announce the appointment of Professor Deborah Colville as Honorary Professor of Practice in the School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at Queen's University Belfast.

Professor Colville is the Director of the UK Digital Twin Centre, run by the Digital Catapult. She previously held the role of City Innovation lead with Belfast City Council establishing the City Innovation Office, developed the Digital Innovation Strategic Business Case for the Belfast Region City Deal and founded the Smart Belfast Programme.

Through her appointment she will share her expertise in mapping pathways for smart technology adoption, city innovation strategies and digital twinning alongside how to develop successful academic-private and public sector partnerships.

Our Professors of Practice forge closer ties between academic and industrial colleagues, enhancing opportunities for expertise and knowledge exchange. We are delighted to be working with Deborah and we look forward to continuing to develop our next generation of innovators.
